About us

Built from experience.
Refined with data.
Shaped by sellers.

We believe the hardest part of running a selling business isn’t getting more data. It’s knowing what the data is telling you, what matters, what is missing, and what to do next.

Dozens of scattered inputs resolving into a single decision

We built our platform to solve that problem.

Why we built this

Selling online creates an enormous amount of information.

Sales, advertising, inventory, costs, fees, cash flow, product research, suppliers, forecasts and dozens of other variables all influence the decisions you make.

But these inputs rarely live together. And even when they do, more information doesn’t necessarily make decisions easier.

We wanted to build something different.

  • Brings the inputs that matter together
  • Makes complex relationships understandable
  • Helps you focus on what deserves your attention
  • Tells you what is missing instead of simply stopping you

The goal isn’t another dashboard. The goal is better decisions.

How we think

Built at the intersection of selling, data and technology.

Our approach comes from combining three perspectives that don’t always exist together.

Real-world selling

Understanding the decisions, constraints and trade-offs that sellers face every day.

Data & AI

Years of experience working with complex data, analytical systems and AI, including more than a decade of experience in data and AI at IBM.

Technology

Building systems that turn complex analytical ideas into tools people can actually use, understand and act on.

None of these perspectives is enough on its own.
Together, they create something much more useful.

Our philosophy

Six ideas the product is built on.

Everything that matters

Important decisions rarely depend on a single metric.

Sales might look healthy while profitability is falling. Advertising might be efficient while inventory is becoming a constraint. A product might look attractive until its real costs are included.

We designed the platform to connect the inputs that actually influence a decision, rather than optimizing one number in isolation.

Make complexity understandable

We don’t believe powerful software needs to feel complicated.

The complexity should exist underneath the system, where it belongs.

Our job is to take large amounts of information, relationships and calculations and turn them into something understandable enough to make a decision with confidence.

Complex underneath.
Simple where it matters.

One plain-language answer above the thirty underlying calculations it rests on
Don’t block. Diagnose.

Real businesses rarely have perfect information.

Missing data shouldn’t always mean hitting a wall.

When something important is missing, the system should help you understand what is missing, why it matters and what you can do about it.

Instead of

“Cannot continue.”

We want you to hear

“Here’s what we’re missing, and here’s why it matters.”

The 1% principle

You don’t need to spend your time analyzing everything.

You need to find the small part that deserves your attention. Our analytical approach is designed to progressively narrow the field:

  • Understand the whole.
  • Identify what is unusual, important or potentially valuable.
  • Focus on the few things that can make a meaningful difference.
  • Then act.

The objective isn’t to give you more things to look at. It’s to help you find the 1% worth acting on.

A field narrowing from 1,284 items to the seven worth opening today
Learn from yourself. Learn from the best.

Your business has a history.

Your decisions have consequences. Your performance changes over time. We want the platform to help you understand that trajectory rather than treating every day, product or decision as an isolated event.

And, where appropriate and with privacy in mind, aggregated insights can provide another perspective: how your performance compares with broader patterns and what the strongest performers are doing differently.

Benchmarks aren’t instructions. They’re context. The goal isn’t to tell every seller to behave the same way. It’s to help you understand where you stand, discover patterns and make better decisions for your own business.

Built with users

A product like this cannot be designed from a spreadsheet or a conference room alone.

The reality of running a selling business is too nuanced. That’s why the platform is continuously shaped by feedback, real-world workflows and the experiences of the people who use it.

  • We listen to where users get stuck.
  • We pay attention to what they need to understand.
  • We question assumptions.
  • And we refine the product accordingly.

The methodology is not finished. It gets better as we learn.

Three pieces of seller feedback and the three product changes they produced
From data to decision

Most analytical systems stop at information.
We want to go further.

Data

What happened?

Context

Why might it have happened?

Analysis

What matters?

Focus

What deserves attention?

Action

What should you investigate or do next?

Learning

What happened as a result?

The six stages - data, context, analysis, focus, action, learning - drawn as a closed loop, with learning feeding back into data

The more this loop is used, the more useful the system becomes.

Community

Knowledge should not stay with one seller.

Every seller eventually discovers something the hard way.

  • A pricing decision.
  • An inventory mistake.
  • An advertising strategy that worked unexpectedly well.
  • A product that looked promising but wasn’t.
  • A process that saved hours every week.

We believe those experiences are valuable. That’s why community is part of the vision.

Not a social network for the sake of having one. A place where real experiences, decisions, experiments and lessons can become useful to other people facing similar problems.

What we believe

Sellers don’t need another place to look at numbers.
They need a better way to understand what those numbers mean.

  • They shouldn’t have to become data scientists to use their own data.
  • They shouldn’t have to connect dozens of spreadsheets before they can make a decision.
  • They shouldn’t be blocked because one piece of information is missing.
  • And they shouldn’t have to spend hours searching through everything to find the one thing that actually matters.

We believe software should do more of the hard analytical work so people can spend more of their time making decisions.

Our standard

We’re building this with a simple principle.

  • If the system can make something clearer, it should.
  • If it can surface something important, it should.
  • If something is missing, it should explain why.
  • If there is uncertainty, it should make that visible.
  • If there is a better question to ask, it should help you find it.
  • And if there is something we don’t know yet, we should say so.

Because trustworthy software isn’t software that pretends to know everything. It’s software that helps you understand what you know, what you don’t, and what deserves your attention next.

— Our standard
Where we’re going

We started with a simple problem:
too much information and not enough clarity.

The bigger vision is to build a system where sellers can bring together the information that matters, understand their business as a whole, learn from their own history, learn from others, and make better decisions with less wasted effort.

Five stages on a horizon: bring the information together, understand the business as a whole, learn from your own history, learn from other sellers, decide with less wasted effort

Not more noise.
Not more dashboards.
More understanding. And, ultimately, better decisions.
